Dustin Devine, DVM, MS, DACVS, LA Co-Founder/Owner

Dustin Devine has been practicing veterinary surgery for over 20 years. A 2002 graduate from Oklahoma State University CVM, he aspired to become a surgeon to have a “hands-on” approach to bettering the lives of animals.

In 2007, Dustin became board-certified in the ACVS and completed his Master of Science with an emphasis on comparative orthopedics and minimally invasive surgery. From there, he was employed at the university level for nine years (3 years as an Assistant Professor of Surgery) and in a private equine referral center for over five years, providing all the elective surgical services for a 20+ doctor practice. Having had the privilege of operating on some of the finest equine athletes in the world, he has limited his practice to companion animal surgery since 2016.

Jenny Van Deventer Co-Owner/Founder

Jenny Van Deventer is an animal nut, mother, and avid equestrian. She pursued veterinary medicine at a young age, completing her BS in animal science at Texas A&M and a Master’s in microbiology/immunology at Colorado State. She went on to attend Iowa State CVM for veterinary school when life stepped in the way and her route detoured. Growing up in a veterinary family, Jenny always loved providing care for animals and found that she could do the same while being a practice manager wearing all hats. When she has the opportunity, Jenny enjoys being with her horses, gardening, and fly fishing - but most of all, spending time with their son Wade.

Ethos

Our family, the animals in our care, and their human families will always be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
